Sarah and Paige were married on Sunday at Quarry Park in Winston Salem, NC. This small, intimate wedding was more perfect than I can explain in words. There were tons of laughs and some truly happy tears. The emotion flowed from the love these two have built over the past 5 years.
Taylor and I met Sarah and Paige at Old Salem before their ceremony. Sarah was wearing the most beautiful maroon lace dress and Paige had a maroon bowtie to match. They danced, cuddled, ran, skipped, twirled, dipped and “drunk walked” together. It was honor to photograph the love and intimacy between these two. I could not have imagined a prettier day for a January wedding.
After exploring Old Salem we headed to Quarry Park for their ceremony. There we met up with their two witnesses and their wonderful officiant Sarah. Sarah and Paige wed during golden hour on a steel bridge overlooking the waters of the rock quarry with the skyline of Winston Salem in the background. They wrote their own vows and placed them into their wooden love box (engraved with S & P on it) that has photos and other mementos from their relationship in it.
I would 10/10 recommend getting married just like Sarah and Paige. In a ceremony that fits your relationship and feels authentic and full of pure joy and love. Sarah and Paige thank you so much for trusting me to capture your memories. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them. Your love is so very beautiful!

Megan was married on Saturday so I can finally share these photos with you all! She was such a beautiful bride and we had the best time getting to know each other at her bridal session. These are some of my favorite bridals ever!
I used to work with Megan’s Stepmom Sam at Baptist when I first started as a nurse assistant there. Sam reached out to me to purchase a bridal session with hair and makeup as a gift! Hannah Dezarn did the best job adding to Megan’s natural beauty. She looked beyond gorgeous! Plus, her dress is absolutely incredible. I love how elegant her long lace sleeves were. Megan made her own gorgeous bouquet.
We went to Old Salem back in September to take these photos. It was a warm and overcast day. We even got some pops of golden sun at the end of her session. Everything could not have worked out more perfectly. The classic look of Old Salem suited Megan perfectly.
Sam, thank you so much for trusting me to capture these photos. Megan, I hope you had the best wedding day ever!

Lindsay and Kenneth met me earlier this month at Pilot Mountain State Park in Pinnacle, NC. The overlooks are off limits at Pilot Mountain now because of safety and destruction to native plants. However, Lindsay and Kenneth loved the look of having the mountain in the background and I am obsessed with the way these turned out.
The weather was perfection. Have I mentioned fall is my favorite season? The leaves were just starting to change color. The golden light was amazing and the outfits they picked were perfect. It does not get any better than Kenneth’s flower shirt and Lindsay’s flowing flowery dress. I’m so excited to share these.
Lindsay and Kenneth went to high school together but lost touch after. A little over 3 years ago they ran into each other at Walmart and the spark was there! He asked her on a date and as she wrote to me “here we are!”
Lindsay and Kenneth thank you so much for choosing me to capture your memories. I hope you love them as much as I do. I can’t wait until February when I get to see you become husband and wife!

Jessica and Dylan were married at the beginning of this month at the gorgeous Roaring River Vineyards in Traphill, NC. This wedding was stunning and I will not soon forget it. The first signs of fall were all around us. The sun was shining and golden, the air was crisp and cooled off as the day went on, the leaves on the trees were just starting to change color. I can’t say enough how perfect this day was.
Jessica and Dylan first met through a mutual friend. They started dating back in 2015. Jessica and Dylan have different opinions on when their first date was. Dylan said he thinks that it was when they went to Boone together but Jessica said she didn’t know that was a date! Jessica calls their first date lunch at her favorite restaurant in her hometown, Village Inn Pizza. Dylan proposed in 2018 over a planned multi course dinner and wine pairing at Fleming’s restaurant. If you want to see more of Jessica and Dylan click here for their downtown Winston Salem engagement.
The morning of their wedding Jessica and her ladies had their hair and done at Salon 405 and their makeup done by Beautiful Faces By Melissa. They arrived to Roaring River Vineyards looking gorgeous in matching shirts. Jessica’s said “Changing my last name” and her bridesmaids said “But first, champagne.” Then they popped a bottle of champagne! Jessica also gave them adorable compacts that had their names on them as well. Jessica’s wedding planner Anna of Anna’s Wonderful Weddings had an area set up for mimosa’s inside that said “Pop the champagne, you’re changing your last name.” As a champagne lover I appreciated all of these champagne accents!
After the champagne celebration I got to hang out with Jessica and her girls while she put her dress and details on. One of my favorite details of Jessica’s was a cross necklace that belonged to her late Grandmother. Donning the dress is always a special moment and there were quite a few tears in the room. The entire wedding was full of joy and love. After getting ready Dylan and Jessica had their first look. Full of excitement, we went down to the Roaring River and got some amazing bride and groom pictures by the water.
We then met back up with their wedding party and finished photos with the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Jessica and Dylan’s ceremony was set in the midst of the trees under a gorgeous arbor overlooking the Roaring River. The arbor was decorated with gorgeous fall flowers from Bella’s Floral and Designs. At the end of their ceremony they walked down to aisle to their friends and family showering them with cute packets full of birdseed.
After family formals we headed up to the vineyard. These are some of my favorite bride and groom pictures ever. The location, all their gorgeous details from Dylan’s suit and hat to Jessica amazing dress and fall bouquet were perfect. We also got to take a few pictures behind the owner’s house which overlooked a mountain range! Lastly we headed down to the gate of the vineyard which is covered in Ivy and stunning!
Jessica and Dylan had the best beginning of their wedding day and the reception was no less amazing. Jessica loves Disney and Jessica’s bridesmaids surprised her with personally written reprises of Disney songs for her and Dylan. This included tons of laughs and lots of tears for Jessica. This was one of the best “speeches” I have ever seen! The rest of the evening was filled with great music from the band Hipshack. Jessica and Dylan have so many people who love them and came to celebrate their union.
From perfect weather to fall colors and stunning portrait locations, this wedding had the best of everything. Jessica and Dylan got to play in a river, dance in a vineyard and look out over a mountain side view together on their wedding day. What a dream it was to be picked to be a part of it.
Thank you Jessica and Dylan for trusting me to capture your memories. I hope you had the best honeymoon in Florida and that you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!

Alex and Seth had their engagement session at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC last month. I’m so glad the weather agreed with us and we could have this session. They live in different states right now and this was their only evening off together without other plans for quite awhile.
Alex and Seth have busy lives because they are both physician residents. They met at a medical conference over 3 years ago and they have been together ever since! They are so fun to be around, full of joy, funny, intelligent and a perfect match for each other. Their wedding day is going to be amazing!
We had so much fun exploring Tanglewood Park together. We went to the arboretum, the chapel, the lake and next to the horse pasture. It was an overcast day and just warm enough to be comfortable. Seth brought his cowboy hat and we even convinced Alex to wear it for a few pictures and it looks so cute.
Alex and Seth thank you so much for choosing me to capture your memories. I cannot wait until next July to see you getting married at The Brawley Estate!
