Photography has always been more than a job to me. It's a way of witnessing. Of slowing down just enough to catch the fleeting, unfiltered beauty of a moment before it slips by. Because behind every image is a story worth remembering. Here's mine.
I’ve photographed weddings where I teared up behind the camera. First looks that knocked the breath out of the room, toddlers running wild through fields, and once, a quiet moment between a bride and her grandmother. It wasn’t until later that I learned it was the last photo they’d ever take together.
Moments like that stay with you. They remind me that what I’m capturing isn’t just pretty pictures. It’s legacy, emotion, proof that love was here. And that’s what brings me back to why I do this work.
I'm Jessica, capturing wild love & all the magical moments
It started with a photo of my daughter. Not a fancy one. Just a candid little moment where she was laughing, eyes crinkled, completely unfiltered joy. I remember looking at it during a time when everything felt heavy. Long shifts as a nurse while trying to show up for everyone and still remember who I was.
That photo reminded me what matters. It didn’t need perfect lighting or matching outfits. It just needed truth. And that’s what I try to give every person who steps in front of my lens.
I believe real moments matter more than perfect ones. That ease is more powerful than perfection. And that photos should feel like you. Not a trend, not a performance, just something true enough to last.
"Jessi Paige is worth her weight in gold. Literally. You would be lucky to have her photograph an important moment in your life. Not only does she capture photos beautifully, but she puts even the most skittish grooms at ease. She made me feel beautiful, and I knew I was in capable hands. Remember, this is the person who captures the memories from some of the biggest days in your life. She is both a wonderful human being and an artist. I cannot tell you how strongly I recommend her. I hope my new husband is okay with a photoshoot once a year for the rest of our lives."
Number of years I've spent doing what I love and documenting your stories.
The number of times I've said "just one more photo" and meant none of it.
Estimated number of times per session I say "I love thattttt" out loud.
Photo of my daughter laughing that started this whole journey.
Now, I guide every session with a rhythm that helps you feel comfortable and confident, while still leaving room for the in between magic to unfold.
And I’ve been lucky to work with so many wonderful humans who tell me afterward, “We felt so relaxed,” or “That felt like us.”
Because this isn’t just photography. It’s memory keeping. It’s holding space. And it’s a reminder that whether your life feels wild, joyful, messy, or a mix of all three. Yours is beautiful, exactly as it is.
If that sounds like the kind of story you want told, I’d love to hear from you.
