Austin & Adam are Married!

Austin and Adam were married last Saturday at The Barn at Cedar Hill in Salisbury, NC. I’ve been looking forward to this wedding since I met them over 2 years ago! It was such a beautiful day and I was so lucky to be a part of it.

Austin and Adam met through mutual friends at a small get together. Austin said that “we both almost didn’t go out that night but decided last minute to.” I’m so glad that they did because they are perfect together!

After about a month of being friends they had their first date. Austin said” it was at a pizza place back home in Illinois called Rosati’s. We haven’t stopped eating pizza since! It’s our go-to food!” They have been together a little over 7 year now.

Back in 2017 they went to Hanging Rock State Park. Austin said Adam really surprised her. After a long hike up to the top, Austin went to sit down to take a picture with Adam. She said he was “acting funny not wanting to sit down, rummaging through his pocket, kind of panicking. Once he found the ring (he thought he lost) he asked the question. We started the day at the lovely Barn at Cedar Hill in their bridal suite. Austin and her bridesmaids and 3 flower girls were getting their hair and makeup done. Austin looked so beautiful and so happy!

Courtney headed over to a hotel where Adam and his groomsmen were getting ready. Adam had a custom suit made with their wedding date and his last name on the inside! I just love all the little details in their wedding.

When Adam arrived at the venue they had a first touch outside. A first touch is where they don’t see each other but get to hold hands and talk. This was one of my favorite moments of the day. Austin was overcome with happy tears and Adam was so happy.

Their ceremony was stunning. It was outside in the woods overlooking the lake. The wooden arbor they were married under was covered with greenery and white flowers. As Austin walked down the aisle towards Adam he had the biggest smile on his face!

The Barn at Cedar Hill has so many beautiful places to take photos at. After their ceremony we went out by the lake and in the surrounding woods. The weather was perfect. The temperature was in the 60’s and it was cloudy all day but we had no rain!

At their reception Austin and Adam were surrounded by the people they love the most. They ate, danced, drank and celebrated! We snuck back out for a few more photos in the pine trees and I’m so glad we did. They are so fun and romantic!

Austin and Adam chose to do a sparkler exit. At the very end Austin got a piggy back ride through the sparklers! It’s one of my favorite pictures of the whole day.
