Austin and Adam met me in Boone last week for their engagement session. It was a cold but amazing day! We started at the Moses Cone Manor and ended at Rough Ridge Overlook.

The session began with a gorgeous overcast sky. As we were driving to the second location the sun kept peeking through the clouds. About a mile away from Rough Ridge we ran into a fog bank covering the mountains.

We headed up the trail and took some of my favorite mountain pictures! The fog makes it looks so magical. It reminds me of the pacific northwest.

Austin and Adam are perfect together. It was so easy to capture the love between them. When I explained what I call the corny but “looks romantic for the picture” nuzzle Adam said “oh the one we thought it looked like he was smelling her hair!” So I have included several of my finest hair smelling pictures here.

Austin and Adam, I really enjoyed laughing with you and getting to know you both. Do we really have to wait until 2019 for your wedding? They say good things come to those who wait so I guess I will have to wait!
