Leah & Preston are Married!

Leah and Preston were married last Saturday in Eden at the Eden Ballroom. I have been looking forward to this wedding all year! I have know Leah for years now and to say I was excited to see her get married is an understatement.

Leah and Preston are perfect for each other. On their wedding day they laughed and held hands, I even caught a fist bump! Their engagement session last year was in Eden as well and ended in their beautiful backyard. To see that session click here. Their wedding date started out at a local hotel where the girls were getting their hair and make-up done. They got to drink mimosas and even had a designed friend/bartender! The guys hung out at Leah and Preston’s house and received cigars that we could take hilarious photographs with and they ended up smoking on the bridge at the end of the day.

Leah got to put her gorgeous dress on and with the help of her Mom and bridesmaids she turned into an absolute movie star. She reminds me of an old Hollywood actress. After getting ready we headed to the venue for Leah and Preston’s first look.

Preston was so excited to see his bride and Leah shed happy tears for the second time this day. When the bridal party joined us they were fun and full of laughter. They were the best group to help Leah and Preston celebrate their love.

The ceremony was inside the Ballroom in front of huge windows with twinkle lights behind them. Leah walked down the aisle with her adorable ring bearer. After their first kiss as husband and wife they walked down the aisle laughing together and then fist-bumped before the family pictures!

Immediately following the family pictures we went out to an amazing bridge next to the venue. The weather was perfect all day, not too hot and not too cold! This is why everyone loves October weddings in North Carolina!

We took some of my favorite bride and groom sunset pictures this year. Preston and Leah were full of the “just married” excitement and got to bask in it while taking pictures!
