Devon and Scott met me at Craggy Gardens in Asheville last Sunday. I love the mountains and I love getting to hang out with couples who love the outdoors as well. I could not have asked for better weather or a more perfect couple for this spot.

Devon and Scott started dating while in High School in Michigan and have been together for almost 9 years. They both live and work in the area now and he proposed last August when they were hiking at Looking Glass Rock in Pisgah. From a mountain proposal to a mountain engagement, I think they picked the perfect spots!

This sunset is one of my favorites that I’ve photographed this year. The golden autumn light was stunning and the leaves were just starting to change colors. These two love each other so sweetly and it was so easy to capture their affection. They are so excited to be getting married and to be celebrating their love back home with all of their friends and family next September.

Thank you Devon and Scott for trusting me to capture your memories. It’s obvious you two are meant for each other and I wish you a lifetime of happiness and love. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.
