Marielle and Benj met me last week at the for their downtown Winston Salem engagement. I was excited that they chose to do their engagement in the city. I had so much fun exploring with these two. 

Marielle and Benj met through a mutual friend while they both were living in New York City. They have been together for almost 3 years. The next stop in their journey is living together in Detroit!

We started their engagement session at the Millennium Center where they are going to have their wedding. It was gorgeous and overcast which made for perfect photos on the rooftop. After that we walked around Trade street. Right before they went to change clothes it started pouring.

The rain come at the perfect time and the storm passed within just a few minutes! For the second half of the session we explored a little more of the city. Marielle impressed me running in heels on cobblestone roads! At the end of their session we stopped by Incendiary Brewing and celebrated with a few beers. 

Marielle and Benj, I cannot wait to see you two get married. You are amazing people who deserve all the love and happiness that marriage will bring. Thank you again for choosing me. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!
