Angie & Landon are Married!

Angie and Landon were married last Saturday at Winmock at Kinderton in Bermuda Run, NC. This wedding was nothing short of spectacular. I am so excited to share their story.

Angie and Landon met at work. He says he can remember the day he met her. After meeting her Landon went back to his coworker and said “I like her.” Landon liked Angie but things never went past friends for awhile.

Angie said “during the next two years Landon swears that he tried to flirt with me but that I showed no interest. I say that he is really bad at flirting because I had NO CLUE he was interested. If not for numerous coworkers that thought we’d make a cute couple, we might never have gotten together. Someone finally let it slip one day that he might be interested so I started flirting with him and it just kind of progressed from there.”

I overheard in a speech that Landon brought her doughnuts at work. That may be one of the best ways to flirt! These two are so adorable together.

After their first date of dinner and bowling it has been smooth sailing since. They knew early on that they wanted to be together forever. They have known each other over three years and have been dating a little over a year now.

In December of last year Landon took Angie to Asheville to see the gingerbread houses at the Grove Park Inn. Then they did a candlelight tour at Biltmore. He proposed on the bank overlooking the Biltmore Estate with a book he had created for her.

Kristin and I started the day with Angie and her bridesmaids in the bridal suite at WinMock. Angie was perfectly calm and smiling as usual. She was so happy to be marrying Landon.

Kristin headed to take pictures of Landon while he was getting ready. He was just as calm and happy as Angie was. Angie and Landon both choose a few loved ones to be by their side and it made for an intimate and relaxed day. They were a really fun bridal party!

Angie and Landon opted to do a first look and I’m so glad they did. They got to spend so much time together on their wedding day and they have a gazillion pictures to remember their day.

Throughout the day it was raining on and off and right before their ceremony the rain was starting again. They were married in the granary at WinMock under a lovely floral arch created by Dahlia’s! It was a beautiful ceremony and there were lots of laughs and a couple tears.

After the ceremony we headed out for a few more pictures in the rain. As soon as we did the rain stopped and the sun decided to peek out of the clouds. Angie and Landon got pictures in so many kinds of weather from overcast to partly cloudy to sunny to raining and in the daytime and nighttime.

During their reception we snuck out for more photos with an antique car that a friend of theirs brought. I can’t even describe in words how perfect the car was with Angie and Landon and WinMock. You will just have to see for yourself! My favorite picture was another with the car we took at night.

Angie and Landon were surrounded by friends and family who love them. Their love was honored and celebrated and I was lucky to have documented it all! They ended their evening by walking through their guests holding glow sticks and driving off in the classic car.
