Martine & Justin are Engaged!

Based in beautiful North Carolina, I’m a wedding, family and senior photographer with a heart for real moments, golden light, and the kind of love that makes your chest feel full.

Photography, for me, isn’t just about pretty pictures. Though, don’t worry, we’ll get those too. It’s about creating a space where you can be fully present and comfortable, while I document it all in a way that feels natural and true to you.

Martine and Justin met me on Sunday at Pilot Mountain State Park. We had to reschedule this session twice due to bad weather. We were blessed with a partly cloudy day but it was freezing! These two took it in stride.

They looked comfortable and smitten with each other in every picture. You can’t even tell they are cold. Martine and Justin are perfect for each other. They complement and support each other. I just love how many adorable nose crinkles we got from Martine laughing!

Can we talk about Martine’s ring for a second? It is GORGEOUS!!! Taking photos of it was a dream. Martine had it cleaned that day and it was shining and bright.

I want to give a big thanks to Courtney Paige Photography for coming with me and being my second photographer. She got some amazing shots and I can’t wait to share them on the blog!
