Carrie and Nate are Engaged!

Based in beautiful North Carolina, I’m a wedding, family and senior photographer with a heart for real moments, golden light, and the kind of love that makes your chest feel full.

Photography, for me, isn’t just about pretty pictures. Though, don’t worry, we’ll get those too. It’s about creating a space where you can be fully present and comfortable, while I document it all in a way that feels natural and true to you.

Carrie and Nate are a perfect example of why I love what I do so much! They met me last week at their house in Pinnacle. We started off exploring some of their land and the trees were just starting to turn into fall colors.

They have the most beautiful property and the light through the woods that evening was amazing! We got to add their dogs Maggie and Jackson into some of the photos. Their personalities shine right through. Maggie’s side eye and Jackson’s goofiness had us cracking up.

We ended the session at Pilot Mountain enjoying the colors of the sunset. Carrie and Nate are a perfect fit. They don’t take themselves too seriously and know how to make each other smile and laugh. In turn, they also know how to be calm and caring.

I cannot wait until their wedding next October at Donnaha Valley Farm. Thank you Carrie and Nate for trusting me to capture your memories. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.
