High Point Wedding

Melynda and David’s wedding last Saturday was one for the books. It was filled with love, tears, personal touches, laughter and tons of family and friends. I have been so excited to share their day!

We started at the church David attended as a child. Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in High Point is absolutely stunning! We walked into the brides dressing area and there was a harp player practicing for the ceremony. Melynda shared with us important details like her Nanny’s bible and necklace.

Everyone was overcome with happy tears so many times during this day! Melynda wore her mothers dress that was redesigned by a friend of the family. She sewed a tiny blue bow to the back of the dress for her “something blue.” Although a bridesmaid joked “all her bridesmaids were her something blue.”

Melynda and David had a first look that was full of emotion. Their eyes both brimmed with tears and David said “you are the most beautiful I have ever seen you.” He is so in love with his new bride and it shines through everything he does!

After the beautiful ceremony we headed to Twelve West Main in Thomasville for lots of dancing, toasts and more emotion! This was such an amazing wedding and I couldn’t be happier for these two and their families!
