I met Melynda & David last weekend at their favorite beach, Sunset Beach, right before sunrise. They were engaged on this very beach on the 4th of July! They vacation near here often and I loved that it had such special meaning to them.

The sunrise at the beach never disappoints and this morning was especially gorgeous as all of the birds gathered to watch the sunrise with us. Melynda & David are so much fun and so in love. Just look at all their laughs and nose crinkles!

After the pier we walked along the beach and found a sand dollar. Melynda’s grandma used to find and give her sand dollars so it was perfect that we found one. It made such a meaningful and beautiful background for her ring shots.

I cannot wait to celebrate with all their friends and family at their wedding in June! Thank you for trusting me to capture your memories. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
