Aimee and Taylor met me last week at Pilot Mountain State Park in Pinnacle, NC. To say this was an amazing engagement session would be an understatement. I had the best time getting to know these two.
Aimee and Taylor met in Kansas City at KU Med where Aimee was a nurse and Taylor was a resident. Aimee said they bonded over their love of volleyball. They have been together for two and a half years and moved here together for work.
North Carolina holds a special place in their hearts. They were engaged while hiking Chimney Rock in Asheville last November. They knew they wanted the mountains in their engagement pictures so we decided on Pilot!
It was a warm and overcast day with a little wind which made for perfect pictures and gorgeous skies. We had a little bit of rain in the middle of the session at the perfect time.
We were about to head back for them to change clothes and the rain started. Luckily the rain stopped soon after and we had the whole mountain almost all to ourselves. We even caught a glimpse of a small rainbow behind the clouds!
My favorite thing was a jean jacket that Aimee’s sister had made for her. It had Mrs. Carter written on the back. I think she should wear it for a few pictures with her wedding dress! It is so adorable on her.
I am so happy for these two. They are such great people and an amazing couple. They had me laughing and smiling the whole session.
