Sarah and Andrew are Married!

Sarah and Andrew’s wedding at WinMock at Kinderton on Sunday was filled with moments I know these two will never forget. When I first got the call for this wedding I was so excited. First of all, WinMock is one of my favorite venues. Secondly, the wedding was on January 14th which was my Mom’s birthday. I love that what was a celebratory day for my Mom will be a day these two will always celebrate as well.

Andrew and Sarah met at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where they both attend school. They both will be graduating later this year! They had their first official date at Sarah P. Duke Gardens. I love that Andrew ended up proposing to Sarah in the Gardens last September. We met at WinMock in October for a gorgeous autumn engagement session and you can find that here.

Andrew and Sarah balance each other perfectly. Andrew is more laid back and Sarah is more exuberant. He is definitely her rock and she is his star. They have so much love between them and I can’t wait to see where this life takes them! After seeing their wedding day, I know that it will be filled with faith, family and friends.

It was a cold and blustery day when we arrived at WinMock. We started with Sarah and her girls in the gorgeous bridal suite. After their hair and makeup was finished the videographer had them do an improptu dance party. This was one of several dances the girls got to do during the day. Sarah was so full of joy and anticipation. Her joyfulness is infectious!

After hanging out with the girls we headed over to the groom’s room. The guys were playing pool and Andrew was just finishing getting ready. He was also filled with anticipation and ready to see his blushing bride!

Sarah and her Dad had their first look on the East Terrace. Her Dad’s smile when he first saw her says it all. You can tell how happy he is that Sarah is getting married to Andrew.

After the first look it was time for the ceremony. As guests filtered into the loft a violinist was playing to welcome them. When Sarah walked down the aisle with her Dad you could see the calm come over Andrew. My favorite part of the ceremony was the family laying hands and hugging Andrew and Sarah. Another musician played the guitar and sang during this.

During cocktail hour we fit in family photos, bridal party photos and snuck out into the cold for bride and groom photos. The sky was full of gorgeous, fluffy clouds and my favorite pictures were of Sarah and Andrew under the sky with WinMock in the background.

Once the reception started Sarah and Andrew relaxed and celebrated their marriage. We snuck up on the top of the loft after Sarah’s bouquet toss and took, of course, a few more pictures! These were overlooking the loft and I’m in love with them.

They exited with their family and friends waving glow sticks and headed to their car that was fully covered with post it notes. These two are truly loved and have so much to look forward to!

Sarah and Andrew I am so thankful I was able to be a part of your big day! I hope that you have made it to Florida and that it is warmer than here. Thank you for trusting me to capture your memories. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!
