Based in beautiful North Carolina, I’m a wedding, family and senior photographer with a heart for real moments, golden light, and the kind of love that makes your chest feel full.
Photography, for me, isn’t just about pretty pictures. Though, don’t worry, we’ll get those too. It’s about creating a space where you can be fully present and comfortable, while I document it all in a way that feels natural and true to you.
I traveled to Charlotte, NC last week for Rhiannon and Alex’s engagement. I cannot describe in words how much fun I had during this session. These two are so amazing together.
Rhiannon and Alex first met in high school in New York. They started dating their senior year. They have been together ever since and celebrated their 5 year anniversary last year!
We started the session at Freedom Park. All three of us had never been there before and it did not disappoint. There were beautiful bridges, willow trees, a lake and lots of pretty pink flowers.
After exploring Freedom Park we headed to Marshall Park. There was an amazing view of the city and we found more gorgeous pink flowers! Rhiannon and Alex had me laughing the entire time. We just happened to schedule the session on Rhiannon’s Dad’s birthday which made the day even more special!
The weather was perfect. We had gorgeous sunshine and it was not too hot which is incredible for a July day in North Carolina. I love when everything falls together perfectly for a wonderful couple!
These two are made for each other. I am so excited to see them get married next May at The Alexander Homestead. Thank you Rhiannon and Alex for trusting me to capture your memories. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.
