This weekend I had the pleasure of shooting my first vow renewal. Marshell & Odell are an amazing couple. These two are so in love after 20 years of marriage! Just wait until you see the way Odell looks at Marshell. This is the kind of love that people write books about!

I met them at Queens Landing in Mooresville, NC. Right before we were set to board the yacht the rain started pouring. As we embarked onto the Lady of the Lake the rain slowed down enough to allow the bride to board without getting wet! As the pre-ceremony songs played, Marshell was downstairs waiting to see her groom and she was overcome with happy tears. Both Marshell and Odell said they felt like newlyweds again. Surrounded by their children, their family and friends they professed their love for each other with handwritten vows. They even dedicated part of the ceremony to acknowledging and strengthening the love between the other married couples who were present. After the cruise on Lake Norman we headed back to Queens Landing for the reception.

I got to enjoy the first part of the reception and see their first dance and the surprise family dance that they had planned. The love that Marshell & Odell have for each other is evident in the bond that they have with their children as well. This is one awesome family! Marshall & Odell I hope that you are both enjoying your “honeymoon” in St. Lucia!
