Anastasia and Geraldo were married last Sunday at Villa de l’Amour in High Point, NC. They were married on 3-17 and the venue’s address is 317 printed in large numbers across the building. It was a lovely coincidence during this beautiful wedding day.
Anastasia and Geraldo met through mutual friends. It was at a party during her freshman year of college at Winston Salem State University. They have been dating for 7 years now.
Geraldo proposed at home with just of the two of them. It was just what a proposal should be, a declaration of love between two people. Anastasia remembers Geraldo asking “will you be my wife?”
These two are so good together. They are a perfect balance and give off a calm and grounded vibe. If you want to see more of them you can click here for their Winston Salem engagement session.
Villa de l’Amour is a stunning venue. We started the day with Anastasia and her bridesmaids in the gorgeous bridal suite. The ladies had on collared shirts with glitter writing that said Bridesmaid or Maid of Honor, Anastasia had a Bride shirt and her Mom had a shirt that said Mother of the Bride on the front and The Mighty Midget on the back.
The girls were drinking mimosas, listening to music and finishing getting ready. Kristin went with Geraldo and his groomsmen. This was a large bridal party (7 on each side) and they were all a lot of fun! I love when everyone gets to relax and enjoy themselves on the wedding day. Weddings are meant to be a celebration!
After getting ready it was time for Anastasia and Geraldo’s first look. Anastasia could barely tell Geraldo to turn around because she didn’t want to lose it! They both looked at each other with tears in their eyes and embraced. It was a heartfelt first look.
While we were taking some bride and groom pictures the DJ started playing some music from their ceremony and I said it was like a scene out of a movie. Anastasia cried more happy tears as Geraldo hugged her. Their wedding day was filled with so many special moments. They shared lots of emotions, smiles and tears.
We were blessed with the most beautiful weather. It was almost 60 degrees and sunny all day. They were able to hold their ceremony outdoors like they planned. It couldn’t have been better weather for mid March!
After their announcement as husband and wife Anastasia and Geraldo danced and partied the night away. Their family and friends were so fun and supportive of their union! They said their goodbyes and kissed under sparkler lights.
Anastasia and Geraldo thank you again for choosing me. I am so grateful I was able to document your day. I hope you are having the most amazing honeymoon!
