Rachel and Andy were married last weekend at The Crest Center and Pavilion in Asheville, NC. Everything about this wedding was amazing. Getting to know Rachel and Andy has been such a pleasure. These two felt like old friends form the moment I met them!
Rachel is a nurse and Andy is a medical student. With my background in healthcare I knew we would have a lot to talk about. It turns out we had even more in common. Rachel lived in Vermont. I also used to live in Vermont!
As Rachel’s Dad said during his speech, she is a planner. Every detail of this wedding was gorgeous and perfectly planned. From the amazing locations, to the gorgeous flowers and even the Vermont maple syrup party favors.
Rachel and Andy are so in love with each other. Every time I captured them looking at each other it was with love, adoration and contentment. They truly see each other and love each other for who they are. They are a perfect match folks!
My second shooter Kristin and I drove through three hours of horrible rain and foggy weather. As soon as we entered Asheville city limits the rain cleared and the sky was perfectly cloudy! It stayed that way for the entire day. When we arrived at The Crest Center there was a brilliant orange tree out front that was in full fall colors! The day was perfect for a fall mountain wedding.
We started out hanging with the girls while they were getting ready, listening to spa music and laughing while the guys got ready at a local hotel. Everyone was so excited for these two to get married. We headed outside for a first look and Rachel’s Dad Tom was beaming with pride. After that it was time for the ceremony. The ceremony was on a deck overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains. The sun kept peeking through the clouds and shining down across the mountains. The officiant was hilarious and had everyone laughing and celebrating Rachel and Andy!
From the moment they entered the reception to their sparkler exit there was so much excitement and fun. This wedding of less than a hundred felt like a three hundred person wedding! They danced and partied the night away.
Rachel and Andy thank you for trusting me to capture your memories and allowing me to be a part of your best day ever! I’m wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.
