Leah & Preston Are Engaged!!!

I met my good friend Leah and her fiancé Preston in Eden, North Carolina this past weekend. We went to a beautiful site that Leah picked out and then headed back to their house to take pictures with their dog Dallas. Everything turned out perfectly. They looked amazing, their outfits were awesome, the golden light was peaking through the trees and fell beautifully onto everything surrounding it, Dallas was great and their backyard is absolutely picturesque. Only one thing went wrong and it was me!

Leah and Preston got to experience my clumsiness firsthand. As soon as we arrived to our initial location I was getting them ready to go through the poses. I took one step towards them for my first shot and I slipped on some moss. I went down hard and dropped the camera on the face of my favorite lens! It was pretty scary but hilarious. At least we had something fun to joke about for the rest of the shoot! They are going to be worried about my safety during the wedding day!

Besides that one snafu the rest of the evening was fun! Leah & Preston were so natural in front of the camera and they have an easy way of showing their love for each other. These two are meant for each other and I cannot wait until their farm wedding next fall!
